Share our mission by walking the streets with us for some grass-roots outreach! Habitat GSF has joined forces with Canopy, a Palo Alto-based nonprofit to promote "Branching Out," their program that plants trees in underserved communities, and our Home Preservation program for Belle Haven residents. In this historically red-lined and culturally diverse Menlo Park enclave, volunteers will walk door to door to hand out information about these services available to low-income homeowners. Habitat GSF has recently received a grant that will make low-cost critical home repairs possible for 20 homeowners in the area. On this day, we will deploy teams to leave informational door hangers on homes. Join us for a leisurely Saturday stroll through this family neighborhood while supporting greening initiatives and affordable homeownership in San Mateo County.
