If you have not yet experienced how to set up large event at the Cow Palace, this is the experience for you! And if you have, we want you as well! Come help us set up our first ever Deck the Walls Playhouse Build at the Cow Palace on December 11! Work with us to unload trucks stuffed with playhouse supplies waiting to be assembled and delightfully painted by sponsoring groups for children in our communities! Be ready to be assigned tasks that will use your muscles in support of this 10-15 playhouse build. Prepare to be active!
PLEASE NOTE: If all volunteer slots are filled, please put yourself on the waitlist and send an email to mlew@habitatgsf.org to confirm there is room for you. Upon review, you will be added.
Please review the Top 10 Safety Tips before coming to the site. Remember to wear your sturdy, closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty/ruined as well as your own gloves and eye protection. Limited supplies of gloves and eye protection will be available.
Check in: Begins 15 mins before start time.
Scope of Work: Assist with set up of event. Unload event supplies and materials out of moving truck. Helpful to be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

10:30 - 10:45 AM Welcome and Orientation
10:45- 2:30 PM Work (Please remember to bring your lunch. Snacks and water will be available. A break will be incorporated in the schedule)
Age Requirement: All volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Minors must have their waiver signed by a parent/guardian.
