Help us guide our community partners in building playhouses sure to delight young children! Our Playhouse Program brings groups together to support our mission of affordable housing solutions to create a generational impact. Your role as a Playhouse Build Team Leader is to provide support while sponsoring groups build children’s playhouses to donate to families and community charities.
As a team leader, you will help lead a group of 10 volunteers in the design, assembly, and painting of a children's playhouse that will be donated to the community. This is a large event with an estimated 130 volunteers. There will be 13 different teams participating!

By signing up for this volunteer shift on January 31, 2015, you understand you must also sign up for a Playhouse Build Leadership Training shift above.
Scope of work and responsibilities:
- Coach volunteers through the steps of completing assembly of a playhouse
- Oversee the painting of playhouse
- Direct volunteers in maintain cleanliness and organization of work area
- Follow schedule of event
- Assist with breakdown of event

Come Prepared: To be ready to be active and on your feet. Please review the Top 10 Safety Tips before coming to the site. Remember to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty/ruined. Leave valuables at home. Lunch and T-shirts will be provided.
