Are you interested in learning how to help lead Habitat staff lead groups in the assembly, design, and painting of a playhouse in 3-4 hours? Take a leadership role in Habitat’s Playhouse Build and learn how to guide 10-20 volunteers in troubleshooting building problems and what to expect when helping other volunteers complete their work. No experience necessary, just some patience, a desire to teach and cheer on, and celebrate when the work is complete!

Location: 1320 Egbert Ave., San Francisco, CA
Scope of Work: We will start with an overview about the Playhouse Program, the day of event schedule, and review its various components. We’ll also devote some time on coaching volunteers. The rest of the time will be hands-on training on wall assembly, roof assembly, and painting guidance. It's important to be know the build day sequence, as a general awareness of the schedule will help us keep volunteers engaged throughout the process and ensure a smooth event day.
