
At this 10+ Playhouse Build, Deck the Walls, we will need extra support in helping us keep this large fundraising event humming! Our Playhouse Program which brings sponsoring groups together to support our mission to create generational change through affordable homeownership. On Playhouse Build days, you’ll build children’s playhouses that are donated to families, childcare facilities, and nonprofits. Your help will ensure that we're able to provide an organized and enriching experience for our sponsors whose financial support is critical to our mission.
PLEASE NOTE: If all volunteer slots are filled, please put yourself on the waitlist and send an email to mlew@habitatgsf.org to confirm there is room for you. Upon review, you will be added.
Scope of work and responsibilities: Monitor and manage supplies of paint, implements and tools used during the build event. Provide support as staff manages the schedule and assist in breakdown of the event.
Location: Cow Palace, North Hall, 2600 Geneva Ave., Daly City, CA 94014
Parking: Onsite, at the Cow Palace.

9:00 AM Check-in and orientation
9:15 - 4:00 Work (Lunch will be provided)
Come Prepared: To be ready to be active and on your feet. Please review the Top 10 Safety Tips before coming to the site. Remember to wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty/ruined. Leave valuables at home, and please watch this safety video to learn about your volunteer day and ways you can stay safe at the construction site.
