Come help our Playhouse Program by working at our warehouse in the Bayview Neighborhood and preparing the playhouse materials to be used for future projects. Your involvement will support our Playhouse Program, a team building activity when we engage corporate sponsors in building playhouses which are donated to organizations serving children in the community. Tasks will include fabricating, finishing, and painting playhouse parts.
Location: Habitat Warehouse, 1320 Egbert Ave., San Francisco, CA
Scope of Work: Scope of work can include unloading and storing large lumber deliveries, painting pre-cut playhouse pieces, or light woodworking. Power tool experience is a plus but not a must. Training will be provided but for liability reasons, minors will be limited to non-power tool related work. Please review the Top 10 Safety Tips before coming to the site.

Reminders: Wear your sturdy, closed-toe shoes and clothes you don’t mind getting dirty/ruined as well as your own gloves and eye protection. Please bring layers as it may get cold in the warehouse. Gloves and eye protection will be available. Remember to bring your lunch if your schedule includes a lunch break.

Age Requirement: All volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Minors must have their waiver signed by a parent/guardian.
